You n't went down the Osrs gold

Was it hard to convince Ubisoft you n't went down the Cheap Runescape gold singleplayer path at the start?

Funnily, not that. There's been a great deal of struggle from everyone, around, largely, I think, since Siege is different from what Ubisoft has been historically accustomed to and has been tremendously effective in doinglike Far Cry, Assassin's, heavily open world games, enormous characters, amazing storylines. When you do come with a multiplayer, game is capped by high skill? Phew! [Laughs and wipes brow.]

It was difficult, when we had internal reviews in the Osrs gold prototyping phase.

This isn't what folks are accustomed to, so we nearly put them around the foot. Siege was the opposite of what we were used to [at Ubisoft], but we were really surprised at the time with how quickly and how readily it moved in terms of shifting perspectives and getting the business to have faith in us to do something entirely different, and embrace it. Without them, that'd never happen to be possible.
